MOTION
Upon recommendation of Navid Mehram, Chief Operating Officer - Wastewater Operating Services, the Board of Directors (Board) of the Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA), authorizes the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to amend the existing Contract No.1803776, "Relocation of the Analytical Lab Operations to the GLWA-WRRF", with Commercial Contracting Corporation, by extending the contract substantial completion date of the expanded lab/office area by 83 calendar days, substantial completion date of the asset area work by 114 calendar days, final completion date of the project by 83 calendar days, making the total revised contract duration 630 days, and increasing the Contract value by $250,000.00, making the total Contract amount of not to exceed $11,749,000.00 and authorizes the CEO to take such other action as may be necessary to accomplish the intent of this vote.
BACKGROUND
On September 09, 2019, the Great Lakes Water Authority awarded the GLWA Contract 1803776 (Relocation of the Analytical Lab Operations to the GLWA-WRRF), to Commercial Contracting Corporation (CCC). The required substantial completion date of the project was September 08, 2020 and the required final completion date is March 08, 2021 with a contract amount of $11,499,000.00.
