RE: Election of Board Secretary

Whereas Article 7(H) of the Articles of Incorporation provides that The Board of Directors (Board) of the Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA) shall elect a Secretary from among its members; and
Whereas The GLWA By-Laws, Article IV, Section 5, requires this election to take place at the Board’s “first regularly scheduled meeting to be held in December of each calendar year;” and
Whereas The Following Board Member(s) were nominated for the office of Secretary:
Freman Hendrix; and
Whereas The Board conducted an election for the office of Secretary with the following votes having been recorded:
Freman Hendrix: 4/0
Now, Therefore Be It:
Resolved That Board Member Freman Hendrix having received a majority of votes cast, is elected as the Secretary of the Board for a term ending December 31, 2026.
