RE: Easement Agreement between GLWA and DTE regarding 12400 East Jefferson, Detroit, Michigan 48215
MOTION
Upon recommendation and opinion of Suzanne R. Coffey, Chief Executive Officer, William Wolfson, Chief Administrative and Compliance Officer, and David W. Jones, General Counsel, the Board of Directors for the Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA) (1) approves and authorizes the execution of the Easement Agreement between GLWA and DTE regarding 12400 East Jefferson, Detroit, Michigan 48215; and (2) authorizes the Chief Executive Officer to take such other action as may be necessary to accomplish the intent of this vote.
JUSTIFICATION
The Easement Agreement between GLWA and DTE at this site is necessary for DTE to continue its gas transmission improvement plan. This is a reasonable accommodation for GLWA to allow the installation of this necessary utility infrastructure.
BUDGET IMPACT
There is no impact on the GLWA budget for this easement agreement.

This request does not impact the Shared Services Agreement between GLWA and DWSD.
