RE: Election of Board Vice-Chairperson

Whereas Article 7(H) of the Articles of Incorporation provides that The Board of Directors (Board) of the Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA) shall elect a Vice-Chairperson from among its members; and
Whereas The GLWA By-Laws, Article IV, Section 5, requires this election to take place at the Board’s “first regularly scheduled meeting to be held in December of each calendar year.”
Whereas The Following Board Member(s) were nominated for the office of Vice-Chairperson
Beverly Walker-Griffea; and
Whereas The Board conducted an election for the office of Vice-Chairperson with the following votes having been recorded:
Beverly Walker-Griffea: 6
Now, Therefore Be It:
Resolved That Board Member Beverly Walker-Griffea having received a majority of votes cast, is elected as the Vice-Chairperson of the GLWA Board for a term ending December 31, 2020.
