RE: Approval of 2019 Schedule of Meetings for the GLWA Board
MOTION
Upon recommendation of William M. Wolfson, Chief Administrative and Compliance Officer, The Board of Directors (Board) of the Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA) approves the attached 2019 Schedule of Meetings for the GLWA Board; and authorizes the CEO to take such other action as may be necessary to accomplish the intent of this vote.
BACKGROUND
At its November 14, 2018 Meeting, the Board received and filed, a proposed Schedule of 2019 Meetings for the GLWA Board. Subsequently, the Board requested certain modifications be made to that proposed schedule by adding additional meetings in March 2019 to accommodate its budget deliberations. The attached Schedule of 2019 Meetings reflects the Board’s request.
JUSTIFICATION
Adoption of an annual schedule of meetings is required under Michigan’s Open Meetings Act.

This item does not impact the GLWA budget.

SHARED SERVICES IMPACT
This item does not impact the shared services agreement between GLWA and DWSD.
