MOTION
Upon recommendation of Cheryl Porter, Chief Operating Officer - Water and Field Services, the Board of Directors (Board) of the Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA), authorizes the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to enter into Requisition No. REQ-0007283/SCN-0000800, Proposed Change Order No. 1, "Emergency Construction Contract for Lake Huron Water Treatment Plant High Lift Building Column Repairs" with Pullman SST, Inc., with no increase in cost for a total cost not to exceed $1,565,950.00 and an increased duration of 182 days for a total duration of 322 days; and authorizes the CEO to take such other action as may be necessary to accomplish the intent of this vote.

BACKGROUND
The Lake Huron Water Treatment Plant High Lift Building is constructed with post tensioning cables that are anchored to metal plates that are encased in concrete in the exterior columns. It was observed that the concrete caps were in deteriorated condition and had started to expose metal plates to the elements.
