Upon recommendation of Navid Mehram, Chief Operating Officer - Wastewater Operating Services, the Board of Directors (Board) of the Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA), authorizes the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to enter into Contract No. 2202164, "Screenings & Grit Transportation and Disposal from WRRF & CSO Facilities" with Waste Management of Michigan, at a cost not to exceed $1,998,900.00 for a duration of two (2) years; and authorizes the CEO to take such other action as may be necessary to accomplish the intent of this vote.

The scope of work for this contract involves the contractor furnishing all labor, material, supplies, equipment, and disposal sites (landfills) necessary for safe transport and disposal of all screening and grit generated, into a state approved, licensed landfill.
