MOTION
Upon recommendation of Navid Mehram, Chief Operating Officer - Wastewater Operating Services, the Board of Directors (Board) of the Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA), authorizes the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to enter into Contract No. 2201744/SCN-0000118, Proposed Change Order No. 2, "Front Entrance Rehabilitation at the Water Resource Recovery Facility" with Commercial Contracting Corporation, with an increase in cost of $1,370,146.00 for a total cost not to exceed $8,367,146.00 and an increased duration of 425 days for a total duration of 1,020 days; and authorizes the CEO to take such other action as may be necessary to accomplish the intent of this vote.
BACKGROUND
On September 15, 2023, GLWA issued the Notice to Proceed for Contract No. 2201744, to Commercial Contracting Corporation (CCC). The project identified by the Wastewater master plan is intended to transform the appearance of the front entrance area for GLWA's Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF), which was last constructed and updated in 1980.
