MOTION
Upon recommendation of Cheryl Porter, Chief Operating Officer - Water and Field Services, the Board of Directors (Board) of the Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA), authorizes the Interim Chief Executive Officer (ICEO) to enter into Contract No. GLWA-CS-259 Proposed Amendment No. 2 "As-Needed Engineering Services for Concrete Testing, Geotechnical Soil Borings and other Testing Services, and Related Services" with Somat Engineering, Inc., with no increase in cost, for a total cost not to exceed $2,130,721.54 and an increased duration of 321 days for a total contract duration of 1,718 days; and authorizes the ICEO to take such other action as may be necessary to accomplish the intent of this vote.
BACKGROUND
Contract No. GLWA-CS-259 is an engineering services contract that GLWA has used for the design and construction administration of three water transmission main projects in which two of the projects are currently under construction.
